CHNC challenge 182: include a building (or part of one)

There's never ever only been one entry by this stage in the week. I'm beginning to wonder whether anyone else is going to add their entry. There are four sponsors this week and, obviously, we need more entries to allocate prizes. I've never added a clause that there needs to be a minimum number of entries to be able to give the prizes, but perhaps I need to do so for this challenge. Perhaps things will suddenly pick up, but I get the feeling that no one likes the theme of the challenge - I didn't think it was difficult, but perhaps it is.

Beautiful gold and silver creations for last week's challenge - so inspirational. Thank you for your support once again.

Please note that I publish the prize winners here and on our facebook page, but don't notify winners individually - it is up to you all to check to see if you have won and email me as requested. There are one or two unclaimed prizes, so it's worth having a look back to see if you were a winner.

Before I get on to today's challenge, I need to let you know the winners of challenge 181.

The first winner:

Number 19: Elaine, who shared this lovely card:

Congratulations, Elaine. Please email me at hazelharris@ntlworld.com so I can arrange for you to receive your £10 to spend at Dawn till dusk crafts.

The second winner:

Number 7: Margaret G, who shared this lovely card:

I am so delighted that random.org picked this as a winner!  Well done, clever Little Crafter!

Now on to:
Challenge 182

For today's challenge I'd like you to see a building (or part of a building) on your Christmas creation - perhaps a church, a house, or part of a house ... any building

I'm pleased to say that this week we have four prizes from generous sponsors - so there are four chances to win something if your number is randomly chosen!

The first sponsor  is Flonz craft:

Flonz craft is a New Zealand based company who are offering a $20 voucher to spend in their online store - and they will generously send to anywhere in the world with free p & p.They have an amazing range of stamps - the winner certainly will have fun choosing, including some lovely Christmas ones that you could then use for a future challenge.

The second sponsor is Ooh la la Creations:

A randomly chosen winner will be able to choose a CD-rom of their choice - and there are so many wonderful ones to choose from.

The third sponsor is Eureka Stamps:

Finally, The Stamps You've been Looking for! Eureka stamps offers a large variety of images and sentiments in many different categories for all of your stamping needs. Our Paper Sculpting stamps add an extra dimension to your creations. Or, Mix and match our Balloons and Balloon Holders to celebrate every occasion. If Eureka Stamps aren't exactly what you are looking for, Don't miss out on the sister companies: QKR StampedeBiblical Impressions Rubber Stamps, or the newest addition; Alluring Impressions.

The randomly chosen winner will receive 5 digital images of their choice from Eureka Stamps.

The fourth sponsor is Stamping all day who are offering three free downloads from bestcardmaking-downloads.com to the randomly chosen winner.

Please visit the websites of these generous sponsors and support them -
you will be spoiled for choice!

For my card I've used the 'Bethlehem with verse' image kindly supplied by one of the sponsors, Eureka Stamps - more details about the card here on My Crafty Outlook:

Now it's over to you. As usual, you can use any materials, any techniques - and this week I'd like to see a building on your Christmas creation - perhaps a church, a house, or part of a house ... any building, more than one building, or part of a building ... I'm sure you will have ideas.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge - please add a link to your blog post (not your blog, but the actual post where your card can be found) by 22:00 UK time Friday 27 June. Please include a link to this blogpost within the post for your creation.

You can enter as many times as you wish  and also link to any other challenges that allow you to do so, but new work only, please.

A new challenge will be set on Saturday 28 June when there will once again be three chances to win a prize, thanks to generous sponsors.

Please add your link to inlinkz. If by any chance it disappears, please leave a comment with the link to your blog post and I will make sure it is added.

If you haven't done so already, please become a follower and grab my bright pink button to post on your sidebar and help continue to spread the word about this challenge blog - thank you. Also it would be great if you would consider becoming a follower - lovely to welcome recent new followers and 'likers' on facebook.

Please also consider going to CHNC Facebook page and clicking 'like' if you haven't done so already and encourage your friends to do the same. I always show at least one of my cards for the next challenge in advance and it's a good place to catch up with any news, winners etc.

Don't forget

Don't forget that 'anything goes' monthly challenges are on my Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra blog - you can share any Christmas card you make throughout the whole month, including those that you link here - there is no restriction on the number of entries you can make throughout the month - the link for CHNC challenge extra for June is here.

At the beginning of the year I started up a new challenge called Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge - anything goes as long as you cover your card with patterned paper - a randomly chosen prize winner every month. Please click on the link to find out more. If you have used patterned paper to cover your card blank for your Christmas card, why not enter it there too. And please be aware that the new Patterned Paper Challenge is not restricted to Christmas - it is for any occasions.

Thank you for your support
I look forward to seeing your entries

  2. Oh Hazel, I don't think this is a tricky theme at all. Am just making my card to enter and had plenty of choice. Quite a few of my stamps/dies covered the theme (Bethlehem, the stable, churches, Memory Box village die cuts - and loads of cards for upcycling too). You did say that part of a building would be fine so some folk could use a door/window even.

Am a bit late this week - will link first thing tomorrow when the post publishes. Anyhow, a few more folk have joined in I see, which is good. Two things may have affected entries - first the lovely weather we've been having and of course the blogger problems could have meant that folk decided to abandon their craft rooms/blogging for a few days.

    Hugs, Di xx

  7. I didn't find the theme difficult. I had some other ideas as well. It was one of those weeks where there were not enough hours to get things done. Also the problems with the reading list on blogger didn't help either! Managed to get one card entered though it was a bit last minute!
