Challenge 192

For today's challenge I'd like you to show people on your Christmas creations - at least one person (can be child or adult, but must be human!)

This week we have four sponsors, so lots of opportunities to win something.

The first sponsor  is The Artistic Stamper who will be giving £15.00 worth of stamps (the winner's choice) to the randomly selected winner.

:

The second sponsor is MilkCoffee:

'MilkCoffee consists of two artists from Indonesia who have been best friends since childhood. Both women love to draw cute illustration. They work in Illustration, Architecture, and Design fields. They offer cute and good quality digital stamps, perfect to make papercraft, card, scrapbook, or anything you want to do with printed digital images :)'

You can find MilkCoffee images at their Etsy Shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/MilkCoffee.

The randomly chosen winner will receive 3 images of their choice.

The third sponsor is The stamping boutique:

'Thank you so much for having us as your sponsor. We at TSB are very proud to offer original digital images and artwork to you. Thank you for giving us a few minutes of your valuable time to look over the store at http://http://thestampingboutique.com/ Good luck in the challenge.'

Thanks so much!   Tracey Malnofski

The winner will receive 3 images of their choice. PLEASE NOTE that if the winner used a Stamping Boutique image they will receive 4 images of their choice.

The fourth sponsor is Melonheadz:

'Melonheadz Illustrations are designed and illustrated by talented artist Nikki Casassa. Nikki's artwork is fresh and fun and can be used for a wide variety of projects. Check out her Etsy Shop at etsy.com/shop/melonheadzdoodles to see the vast selection of digital images she has for sale.'

The randomly chosen winner will be able to choose one bundle from etsy.com/shop/melonheadzdoodles.

Please visit the websites of these generous sponsors and support them -
you will be spoiled for choice!

For my two cards I've used card, toppers and sentiments from a Hunkydory Christmas choir set, part of their Traditional Christmas range. The background card was one piece, but I thought it was too good to fold in half, so I added each half to A5 card blanks. The music strip down the side of each card was offcut from the waste around the die cut toppers etc. More details about the cards here on My Crafty Outlook:

Now it's over to you. As usual, you can use any materials, any techniques - and this week I'd like to see people on your Christmas creations - at least one person (can be child or adult, but must be human!)

Update: Melissa asked: Was wondering if a Santa Claus or Snowman counts as a person? Can the person be a mythological person as in not a real person but is human looking?

My answer: That's fine as long as the person looks human!

I look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge - please add a link to your blog post (not your blog, but the actual post where your card can be found) by 22:00 UK time 5 September Friday . Please include a link to this blogpost within the post for your creation.

You can enter as many times as you wish  and also link to any other challenges that allow you to do so, but new work only, please.

A new challenge will be set on Saturday 6 September when there will be three chances to win a prize, thanks to generous sponsors.

Please add your link to inlinkz. If by any chance it disappears, please leave a comment with the link to your blog post and I will make sure it is added.

If you haven't done so already, please become a follower and grab my bright pink button to post on your sidebar and help continue to spread the word about this challenge blog - thank you. Also it would be great if you would consider becoming a follower - lovely to welcome recent new followers and 'likers' on facebook.

The randomly chosen winner will receive 5 digital images of their choice from Eureka Stamps.

Please visit the websites of these generous sponsors and support them -
you will be spoiled for choice!

My first card was shown yesterday on my blog, but, as I've definitely used a few of my favourite things - I love stamping, ribbons, glitter, sparkle and shine and I definitely love using purple - I thought I would show it here - more details about the card here on My Crafty Outlook. The card was actually made for mid-month inspiration for the August challenge at Christmas cards all year round  where the challenge is to make a Christmas card with sparkle and shine - simply create a card that has glitter, sparkle, gems, pearls etc., so if any of these are included in your favourite things we would love to see your entry added at CCAYR too.

I made my second card a couple of weeks ago as I knew I was going to be away for a week and only came back yesterday afternoon. I used some Hunkydory card mounted on to silver mirror card with a coordinating strip and sentiment circle. The image is one of my favourite Penny Black stamps 'fantasy' inked with Elsybells sugar candy pigment inkpad (one of the best white ones I've ever come across) and heat embossed with detail white powder. So I used one of my favourite stamps, shiny things and heat embossing - oh, and purple is involved too! You can see this on My Crafty Outlook here.

I can't believe that this evening (writing this the night before) I made a card, forgetting that I'd already made the one I've just shown above. However, I'm not sorry really because it gave me an opportunity to use a few more of my favourite things! This time I used some favourite papers, another favourite Christmas Inkadinkado stamp inked with plum archival and heat embossed with clear powder. I used the ink pad to part colour the white flowers. And the plum colour is another favourite of mine. More about this here on My Crafty Outlook:

Now it's over to you. As usual, you can use any materials, any techniques - and this week I'd like you to enjoy using some of your favourite things (Christmas, of course - lol!)

I look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge - please add a link to your blog post (not your blog, but the actual post where your card can be found) by 22:00 UK time Friday 22 August. Please include a link to this blogpost within the post for your creation.

You can enter as many times as you wish and also link to any other challenges that allow you to do so, but new work only, please.

A new challenge will be set on Saturday 23 August when there will once again be three chances to win a prize, thanks to generous sponsors.
