CHNC challenge 116: Merry and bright

There wasn't the usual quantity of entries for last week's CHNC challenge 115, but the quality was definitely still there - such a lovely variety of cards - thank you.

Before I get on to today's challenge, I need to let you know the winners of challenge 115. There were, of course, three opportunities to win a prize.

The first winner:

Number 13: Pat (PJK) who shared this lovely card:

Congratulations, Pat. Please email me at hazelharris@ntlworld.com so I can arrange for you to receive your $21 of digital images from Bugaboo Stamps.

The second winner:

Number 5: Tracey Boley who shared this lovely card:

Congratulations, Tracey. Please email me at hazelharris@ntlworld.com so I can arrange for you to receive your 3 digital stamps from Crafts 4 eternity.

The third winner:

Number 15: Marja who shared this lovely card:

Congratulations, Marja. Please email me at hazelharris@ntlworld.com  so that I can arrange for you to receive your  five images from Digistamps4Joy.

Now on to:
Challenge 116

For today's challenge I'd like to see 'merry and bright'
Christmas cards (however you want to interpret that -
it can even be 'merry or bright')

Our first sponsor this week is Crafty Emblies who are giving £10 worth of goodies to the randomly chosen winner.
'We are a new company, started in 2012 and we are family owned and run. All our wooden, metal and plastic items are made to order here at our site. So we always have our items in stock. All our wooden items are made from 3mm/2mm ply or 3mm/2mm MDF or 1mm card. Please note grain and colour will vary to pictures as wood is a natural product.

We have our own CNC machines and all our designs and artwork are designed and owned by Crafty-emblies. Most of our wooden cut outs can be applied to a black and used to stamp with.'

The second sponsor is Crafty Sentiments - a new sponsor for CHNC - who are offering 3 digis of the winner's choice:

'We are a small family fun online company that offers crafters fun and whimsical unmounted rubber stamps, digital stamps as well as cutting dies all from our very own exclusive range. Perfect for your cards and scrapbooks! Our stamps are made from deep etched grey rubber and our cutting dies are made from good quality metal from the USA and UK. We also stock essential craft products for your scrapbooking and card making needs.'

The third sponsor is another new sponsor for CHNC:  Bearly mine designs who are offering a £10 gift voucher for the randomly chosen winner. As well as many lovely designs to purchase, there are some wonderful freebies too at Bearly mine designs.

Please visit the websites of these generous sponsors and support them -
you will be spoiled for choice!

For my card I've used 'snowman bird house' pre-coloured digi image kindly supplied by Crafty Sentiments and the background paper is one kindly supplied by Bearly mine designs - I chose this background paper because it has 'Merry Christmas' all over it, so it qualifies for 'merry' and I hope 'bright' as well - you can read more about it here on My Crafty Outlook.

Now it's over to you. As usual, you can use any materials, any techniques, as long as the end result is a Christmas card. - this week with the theme of 'merry and bright', however you want to interpret that! If you want to you can concentrate on 'merry' or 'bright' or both together - I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge - please add a link to your blog post (not your blog, but the actual post where your card can be found) by 22:00 UK time Friday 22 March. Please mention my blog and create a link within the post for your creation.

You can enter as many times as you wish (a good way to build up your stock of Christmas cards) and also link to any other challenges that allow you to do so, but new work only, please.

A new challenge will be set on Saturday 23 March when there will once again be three chances to win a prize, thanks to generous sponsors.

Please add your link to inlinkz. If by any chance it disappears, please leave a comment with the link to your blog post and I will make sure it is added.

If you haven't done so already, please become a follower and grab my bright pink button to post on your sidebar and help continue to spread the word about this challenge blog - thank you.

Don't forget that 'anything goes' monthly challenges are on my Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra blog - you can share any Christmas card you make throughout the whole month, including those that you link here - there is no restriction on the number of entries you can make throughout the month - the link for CHNC challenge extra for March is here.

Thank you for your support
I look forward to seeing your entries
