CHNC challenge 361


Thank you for all your lovely entries for last week's challenge - such a lot of entries once again! Please keep that Christmas stash out and make something this week and share your entries - I look forward to seeing them. As we are now well into November some of my followers will be glad that they made Christmas cards etc before now ... but it's really not too late to add to your stock of cards (if you're anything like me, you still have loads to make even if you've been doing so throughout the year - lol!)

Every CHNC challenge is 'anything goes as long as it's Christmas', which will, hopefully, encourage as many crafters as possible to join in with their festive creations. However, there will always be an optional theme, which this week is 'use a doily'. I want to stress that this is purely optional.

For my cards I used a couple of offcut pieces as backgrounds on the white card blanks, adding paper and sentiment circles from a very recently purchased Craftwork cards Christmas past collection, as well as Dovecraft Glad Tidings doilies. You can see these here on My Crafty Outlook:

For my card I used a ready patterned card blank from The Works, adding a couple of pieces from my Christmas offcuts box wrapped with some lovely textured ribbon. The image is from a Lili of the valley pad, fussy cut, with the addition of the sparkly glittered sentiment stocking which was upcycled from a card received long ago.
