CHNC challenge 163: use a die cut or a punched shape

Lots of variety of stripes and spots for last week's challenge - so good to see so many crafters getting on with Christmas cards early in the year to avoid the rush towards December.

Please note that I publish the prize winners here and on our facebook page, but don't notify winners individually - it is up to you all to check to see if you have won and email me as requested. There are one or two unclaimed prizes, so it's worth having a look back to see if you were a winner.

Firstly today, I need to tell you about the first winner for CHNC challenge 161 - I'm sorry this is late, but there was a delay in receiving the stamps from Cupid Clear Stamps in order to display the prize and pick the winner. This is the prize kindly supplied by the sponsor, Cupid Clear Stamps - 2 sets of stamps worth £15.
Code: BIRDSET4 Build an Owl

Code: ORNSET4 Lamps of light

and the winner is

Number 4: Cornelia (fun stamping}, who shared this lovely card:

Congratulations,Cornelia. Please email me at hazelharris@ntlworld.com with your full name and address so I can arrange for you to receive your two sets of stamps from Cupid Clear Stamps.

Now on to:
Challenge 163

For today's challenge I'd like to see Christmas cards with at least one die cut or punched shape - it can even be a 'ready made' die cut - what could be easier?

For today's challenge there are four sponsors, so even more chances to be randomly chosen to win a prize.

The first sponsor is a familiar one, Flonz craft:

Flonz craft is a New Zealand based company who are offering a $20 voucher to spend in their online store - and they will generously send to anywhere in the world with free p & p.They have an amazing range of stamps - the winner certainly will have fun choosing, including some lovely Christmas ones that you could then use for a future challenge.

The second sponsor is another familiar one at CHNC:

Bugaboo Stamps are proud to sponsor this challenge:

Everything That You Ever Wanted to Know About Bugaboo Stamps: A Short Essay
As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago. Today Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing!  From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects.  Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!
If your taste runs to rubber (and you know who you are), you can find Bugaboo Stamps   at Totally Stampalicious. And finally, join the Bugaboo Stamps DT   for weekly challenges at Catch the Bug

Bugaboo Stamps are offering $21 of digital stamps to the randomly chosen winner.

The third sponsor is another  regular supporter of CHNC:  Robyn'sFetish Digital Stamps And More:

'Robyn'sFetish Digital Stamps And More, a division of I Did It Creations, was created and is owned by Robyn Weinrib. Robyn offers a wonderful variety of digital stamps and digital papers, designed to meet the needs of all digital paper crafting addicts for every occasion.'

Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps And More is happy to award the randomly chosen winner the choice of 5 digital stamps.

The fourth sponsor is yet another familiar one: Crimson Cloud:

"Crimson Cloud is a mother/daughter venture - a way to indulge our joint passion of cardmaking and crafting. We only sell products that we have tried, tested and love using. We have developed our own exclusive range of dies cuts, digital stamps, svg files and "Make Your Own Card" kits which reflect our styles of card making - and hopefully yours too!"

The randomly-chosen winner will receive three packs of die cuts of their choice from the wide selection at Crimson Cloud.

Please visit the websites of these generous sponsors and support them -
you will be spoiled for choice!

This is my card using Die'sire snowflakes from Crafters Companion and the AKV reindeer skate image kindly supplied by Bugaboo Stamps, one of today's sponsors - more about the card on My Crafty Outlook here:

Now it's over to you. As usual, you can use any materials, any techniques - and this week I'd like to see at least one die cut or punched shape on your Christmas card.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge - please add a link to your blog post (not your blog, but the actual post where your card can be found) by 22:00 UK time Friday 14 February. Please include a link to this blogpost within the post for your creation.

You can enter as many times as you wish  and also link to any other challenges that allow you to do so, but new work only, please.

A new challenge will be set on Saturday 15 February when there will once again be three chances to win a prize, thanks to generous sponsors.

Please add your link to inlinkz. If by any chance it disappears, please leave a comment with the link to your blog post and I will make sure it is added.

If you haven't done so already, please become a follower and grab my bright pink button to post on your sidebar and help continue to spread the word about this challenge blog - thank you. Also it would be great if you would consider becoming a follower - lovely to welcome recent new followers and 'likers' on facebook.

Please also consider going to CHNC Facebook page and clicking 'like' if you haven't done so already and encourage your friends to do the same. I always show at least one of my cards for the next challenge in advance and it's a good place to catch up with any news, winners etc.

Don't forget

Don't forget that 'anything goes' monthly challenges are on my Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra blog - you can share any Christmas card you make throughout the whole month, including those that you link here - there is no restriction on the number of entries you can make throughout the month - the link for CHNC challenge extra for February is here.

I've started up a new challenge called Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge - anything goes as long as you cover your card with patterned paper - a randomly chosen prize winner every month. Please click on the link to find out more. If you have used patterned paper to cover your card blank for your Christmas card, why not enter it there too. And please be aware that the new Patterned Paper Challenge is not restricted to Christmas - it is for any occasions.

A note about linky - Inlinkz has changed it's default link up to the new way that you might not yet be familiar with. In fact I chose the code for the old widget, but it still produced the new one. If you experience any difficulty, please get in touch with me and I'll help you link up. Thanks for your patience.

Thank you for your support
I look forward to seeing your entries
