CHNC challenge 249: all wrapped up

What a super lot of entries for last week's challenge - you really rocked it! Great to see some new folk joining in and some returning, perhaps realising that Christmas isn't really that far off if you have a lot of cards to make.

Please note that I publish the prize winners here and on our facebook page, but don't notify winners individually - it is up to you all to check to see if you have won and email me as requested. There are one or two unclaimed prizes, so it's worth having a look back to see if you were a winner.

Please note that my email to send to now is craftyhazelnut@gmail.com - this is because we have moved and I will soon no longer be able to use my previous email addy because there is no Virgin cable here and so the email addy will not be able to be used.

My apologies to those who are awaiting replies for winning the previous week's challenge - I will make the necessary arrangements and get in touch as soon as possible now that I have permanent broadband (BT infinity TV, phone and broadband installed today).

Before I get on to today's challenge, I need to let you know the winners of challenge 248. There were four opportunities to win a prize:

Challenge 249

For today's challenge I'd like you to depict 'all wrapped up' on your Christmas designs - perhaps presents all wrapped up ready for Christmas, boxes or bags ... or perhaps people or snowmen wrapped up to keep warm ... or you might have other ideas

Once again this week there are four opportunities to win a prize - as usual, winners will be chosen randomly.

The first sponsor  is Craftybren's Embroidered Embellishments:

'Hi my name is Bren, I have been crafting since the year dot. I like to have a few different things on the go at once, knitting, sewing, paper crafting etc, just so I can swap and change around a bit.
I made a few cards with my machine embroidery on, and was asked if I made embroidery to sell, that is how Craftybrens was born. Hope you like what you see.'

The randomly chosen winner will receive £10 of goods from Craftybren's Embroidered Embellishments - please note that if the winner lives outside the UK he/she will be expected to pay for the P & P.

The second sponsor is new to CHNC: StitchyBear's DIgi Outlet:

'StitchyBear’s Digi Outlet is proud to have been in business, serving our customers since April 1st 2010. With such a great store Stitchy was no Fool!

We currently have a very talented group of 20 Creators and can offer a vast array of digital images, papers and sets in many different styles.

We really have a one stop shop for an amazing collection of creative digital products with prices to suit every budget.'

StitchyBear's DIgi Outlet are offering any images or digi papers of the winner’s choice up to a value of $10.

The third sponsor is Lacy Sunshine:

Heather Valentin is creative , award winning, modern-day fantasy and whimsical artist who has displayed a dynamic and vibrant energy while painting professionally for over 18 years.

She began to express herself creatively through movement at a very young age.
For many years she studied dance, being drawn to forms that allowed creative self expression, all the while feeling this constant urge to create with her hands. The canvas is now her dance floor where color, beauty and drama are expressed through her every pencil sketch and brush stroke. Her subjects vary from fairies, fantasy, mermaids, vampires, dragons, wildlife, abstract and more. She is one who is inspired in a single moment. Her dreams, moods and the the unfolding beauty of the world around her is what charts her dance for the day. She is most alive when sketching and painting, creating timeless pieces that reflect her heart and soul. Drawing breathes life into her soul- it enables her to reach out and touch lives. This gives her a place in the world one character and painting at a time.

Heather's artist portfolio has expanded to include such clients as Pepsi, Outback Steakhouse, Nabisco, Zephryhils and can now be found at Laguna Art, Third Stone Art Gallery and Sausalito Art Galleries, along with commercial and private collections across
the globe.

Her latest foray is to immortalize her popular drawn characters Eleanor and Pickles in a children's book of their own.

The prize for the randomly chosen winner will be 3 digis of choice from the Lacy Sunshine Shoppe.

The fourth sponsor is Die Cuts With a View:

'At DCWV, we strive to create products that are easy to use, timeless in their design, and affordable to the consumer. By combining our continued research in developing trends with the feedback we receive from our consumers, we are able keep our products and designs in line with current and future demands. I confess that I haven't made a new card for this challenge - with the move on Sunday, my craft stuff is piled in all manner of ways and places. Earlier this evening (Friday) I made a card for another design team that I'm on, but it was very difficult because I couldn't find half of what I needed! Before we moved I actually found some embellishments that I thought would be just right to make a quick card for this week's challenge - I managed to unearth the box that I thought they were in ... but can't find them. So here is my card for 'all wrapped up' using  'snowman's gifts' by Crafty sentiments - featuring 'all wrapped up' in two ways - the snowman and the gift - more info on My Crafty Outlook here (the original post for this card):

A better view of the gold foiled sentiment:

Now it's over to you. As usual, you can use any materials, any techniques - and this week I'd like you to depict 'all wrapped up' on your Christmas designs - perhaps presents all wrapped up ready for Christmas, boxes or bags ... or perhaps people or snowmen wrapped up to keep warm ... or you might have other ideas.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge - please add a link to your blog post (not your blog, but the actual post where your card can be found) by 22:00 UK time Friday 9 October 2015. Please include a link to this blogpost within the post for your creation.

You can enter as many times as you wish  and also link to any other challenges that allow you to do so, but new work only, please.

A new challenge will be set on Saturday 10 October 2015 when there will be four chances to win a prize, thanks to generous sponsors.

Please add your link to inlinkz. If by any chance it disappears, please leave a comment with the link to your blog post and I will make sure it is added.

If you haven't done so already, please become a follower and grab my bright pink button to post on your sidebar and help continue to spread the word about this challenge blog - thank you. Also it would be great if you would consider becoming a follower - lovely to welcome recent new followers and 'likers' on facebook.

Please also consider going to CHNC Facebook page and clicking 'like' if you haven't done so already and encourage your friends to do the same. We now have over 400 'likes'  - it was lovely to welcome anothe yet again this week, but there's plenty of room for more! I always show at least one of my cards for the next challenge in advance and it's a good place to catch up with any news, winners etc.

Don't forget

Don't forget that 'anything goes' monthly challenges are on my Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra blog - you can share any Christmas card you make throughout the whole month, including those that you link here - there is no restriction on the number of entries you can make throughout the month - the link for CHNC challenge extra for October is here.

Last year I started up a new challenge called Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge - anything goes as long as you use some patterned paper - a randomly chosen prize winner every month. Please click on the link to find out more. If you have used patterned paper for your Christmas creation, why not enter it there too. And please be aware that the  Patterned Paper Challenge is not restricted to Christmas - it is for any occasions.

Thank you for your support
I look forward to seeing your entries
