Now on to:
Challenge 230

For today's challenge I'd like you to use something die cut or punched on your Christmas creation - it can even be a shop brought die cut shape if you wish

This week there are five opportunities to win a prize - as usual, winners will be chosen randomly.

The first sponsor is Craft Classes Online:

Craft Classes Online (CCO) brings multiple Creative Arts Instructors together on one site to provide students with the best choice in onlinecraft workshops. Our instructors offer online workshops that are engaging, affordable, and time-saving. Students from across the globe can learn any number of techniques and creative projects from the comfort of their home and on their schedule.

CCO's blog, Everyday Moodlings, offers the theme of the week and challenges us to use all of our craft supplies during the coming year. We offer ideas, tips, tutorials, and crafty inspiration.

We are excited to be sponsoring Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge Blog. You can view our class list on our website atwww.CraftClassesOnline.com. We continuously update our website with new workshops, so check back often.

Become a subscriber to our newsletter and gain access to our FREE class, “Ink Essentials”! Come

visit us on our Facebook page, too. One lucky winner will receive a free seat to an online workshop valued at $25 or less. Good Luck!

The second sponsor is Stamp and Create:

'Stamp and Create is an online store based in the US with shipping worldwide. We have a wide range of rubber stamps at the lowest prices around! We carry stamps from: Magnolia, Wild Rose Studio, Saturated Canary, High Hopes Rubber Stamps, CC Designs, The Greeting Farm, Wags 'n Whiskers Rubber Stamps and more. We have a weekly candy giveaway, a Monthly Challenge, and a bi-weekly Magnolia Challenge!! We would love for you to check us out on Facebook as well!'

The randomly chosen winner will receive a $20 voucher to spend in the Stamp and Create online store.

The third sponsor is QKR Stampede:

'Do you have a sense of humor? Are you looking for a cute stamp? Then, we are the company for you! QKR Stampede is the somewhat cute somewhat quirky rubber and digital stamp company. We showcase the artwork of Ken Herrod, who had a unique, somewhat quirky style with lots of humor and character. You are sure to get a chuckle out of our stamps! We have been offering our unique stamps and supplies to the craft industry for over 15 years. At QKR Stampede our images are available as un-mounted, natural red rubber stamps OR as digital stamps! If QKR Stampede Stamps aren't exactly what you are looking for, don’t miss out on the sister companies: Eureka Stamps, Biblical Impressions Rubber Stamps, or the newest addition; Alluring Impressions.'

The randomly chosen winner will receive five digital images of their choice from QKR Stampede.

The fourth sponsor is new to CHNC: Beccy's Place:

My paper obsession began with scrapbooking in the late 1990s and has since evolved into card-making and digital drawing. There were a few years of decorative painting, teddy bear making and silk ribbon embroidery mixed in there too. I still dabble in each of those crafts (and many others) from time to time but I generally gravitate toward paper, which I find versatile and forgiving.

I started “doodling” little designs for cards back in 2009, which is when I started my blog and began sharing my images with other Cardies. From there I progressed to my very own online store selling digital drawings for cards and other paper craft projects. Some of my images have now been made into rubber stamps by the wonderful team over at Sparkle N Sprinkle. These days you can usually find me “hanging out” over on my blog, www.beccysplace.blogspot.com.

The randomly chosen winner will be able to choose three images or one digital set from Beccy's Place.

The fifth sponsor is PDA Card and Craft:

'PDA Card and Craft is the name of the mail order section of the established printing and design agency, Woodward PDA Ltd.

The mail order side of our business was started late in the year 2001. We operated from our site in the centre of Nottingham, but it soon became apparent that we were outgrowing our working premises there.

So in November 2002 we formed a new company called Woodward PDA Ltd. and bought an established printing company Woodward Printers at Langley Mill just outside Nottingham. This is where we now do all our printing and cardmaking operations.

If you are ever in the Nottingham area you will be very welcome to visit us and browse our extensive range of cards and materials in our large factory shop.'

I have been a regular customer of PDA for many years now - I buy most of my cardstock, envelopes, cello bags etc from them, not to mention lots of other goodies that I'm always tempted with ... and give in to the temptation. In fact, I received an order from them yesterday - everything is always packed so well.

The randomly chosen winner will be able to have £40  from PDA Card and Craft - to be spent in their shop or online, depending on the location of the winner.

Please visit the websites of these generous sponsors and support them -
you will be spoiled for choice!

Please look down the sidebar on the right to see all of the sponsors that I have waiting in the wings to give out prizes during this year. I am so thankful for everyone that is so generously coming on board to support me. When buying your crafting goodies, please click on the links to see what's on offer in their online stores and support them as much as you can with your orders.

For my card I've used a lovely coloured image from Beccy Muir at Beccy's Place called  'family reunion' (Beccy is one of our sponsors this week). I die cut the image using a Nelli Snellen die and used the same die to create a negative one in the mirror card, cutting it to make a frame. The background card is Hunkydory and I punched three stars from the mirror card adding 3 pearl button stars on to them. The sentiment circle is from Craftwork Cards, originally cream, coloured with a spectrum noir pen. So I used die cuts and punched stars. You can read more about the card here on My Crafty Outlook.

I'm also showing the design card I've made for Completely Christmas 64, where the theme is 'anything goes with a twist ... add a candle or a lantern' as this also includes die cuts - more info about it here on My Crafty Outlook:

Now it's over to you. As usual, you can use any materials, any techniques - and this week I'd like you to use something die cut or punched on your Christmas creation - it can even be a shop bought die cut.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge - please add a link to your blog post (not your blog, but the actual post where your card can be found) by 22:00 UK time Friday 29 May 2015. Please include a link to this blogpost within the post for your creation.

You can enter as many times as you wish  and also link to any other challenges that allow you to do so, but new work only, please.

A new challenge will be set on Saturday 30 May 2015 when there will be four chances to win a prize, thanks to generous sponsors.

Please add your link to inlinkz. If by any chance it disappears, please leave a comment with the link to your blog post and I will make sure it is added.

If you haven't done so already, please become a follower and grab my bright pink button to post on your sidebar and help continue to spread the word about this challenge blog - thank you. Also it would be great if you would consider becoming a follower - lovely to welcome recent new followers and 'likers' on facebook.

Please also consider going to CHNC Facebook page and clicking 'like' if you haven't done so already and encourage your friends to do the same. We now have over 360 'likes'  - it was lovely to welcome some new 'likers' recently, but there's plenty of room for more! I always show at least one of my cards for the next challenge in advance and it's a good place to catch up with any news, winners etc.

Don't forget

Don't forget that 'anything goes' monthly challenges are on my Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra blog - you can share any Christmas card you make throughout the whole month, including those that you link here - there is no restriction on the number of entries you can make throughout the month - the link for CHNC challenge extra for May is here.

Last year I started up a new challenge called Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge - anything goes as long as you cover your card with patterned paper - a randomly chosen prize winner every month. Please click on the link to find out more. If you have used patterned paper to cover your card blank for your Christmas card, why not enter it there too. And please be aware that the  Patterned Paper Challenge is not restricted to Christmas - it is for any occasions.

Thank you for your support
I look forward to seeing your entries
