CHNC challenge 100: for someone special

There were so many entries again last week - so lovely to see so many joining in. I hope panic is beginning to set in as Christmas is getting closer, but what better way to get prepared than joining in challenges that encourage you. I hope today's new challenge will help you to make cards for the special people in your life rather than leave them to the last minute.

Please remember to have a look at my CHNC page on facebook - if you do go there please join in by clicking 'like' so that I know that you've been there. During the week you'll find updates and hints of the next challenge - please feel free to chat there - I know that some of you do already - thank you. It's great that we now have more than 100 likes - let's see if we can spread the net wider before the end of the year.

Before I get on to today's challenge, I need to let you know the winner of challenge 99. Unfortunately, there could only be one winner and this is the result of using random.org:

Number 29: Norma
who shared this lovely card:

Congratulations, Norma! Please email me at hazelharris@ntlworld.com so I can arrange for you to receive your five digital stamps from Robyn'sFetish Digital Stamps And More.

Challenge 100
For today's challenge I'm asking you to make a Christmas card
for someone special

Today's challenge is being sponsored by Creative Treasures

Tracy from Creative Treasures is generously giving away these gorgeous goodies:

Tracy says:

I’m Tracy and the owner of Creative Treasures, we are a family run business with a love of all things craft related. We stock a great range of mulberry flowers, pretty ribbons, seam binding, lace, pearls, buttons, charms and lots of pretty embellishments. We are always adding new stock.  Our aim is to provide fantastic customer service and great value for money.

I've made an easel card for John - as with so many crafters, the more important cards tend to be left till last, so I decided to make a card for John, who is indeed 'someone special'. You can read more about it here on My Crafty Outlook:

Now it's over to you. As usual, you can use any materials, any techniques, as long as the end result is a Christmas card - and this week please make make any Christmas card you like as long as it is for someone special.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge - please add a link to your blog post (not your blog, but the actual post where your card can be found) by 22:00 UK time Friday 30 November.  Please mention my blog and create a link within the post for your creation.

You can enter as many times as you wish (a good way to build up your stock of Christmas cards) and also link to any other challenges that allow you to do so, but new work only, please.

A new challenge will be set on 1 December.

Please add your link to inlinkz. If by any chance it disappears, please leave a comment with the link to your blog post and I will make sure it is added.

If you haven't done so already, please become a follower and grab my bright pink button to post on your sidebar and help continue to spread the word about this challenge blog - thank you.

You only have until midnight on Friday 30 November
to enter the draw for candy on my

Please click on the link for details and continue to spread the word. From 1 January 2013 there will be monthly 'anything goes' challenges (Christmas, of course) - an opportunity to share all of your Christmas cards that you make through the year, with a chance to win some Bugaboo stamps as there will be a randomly-chosen winner at the end of every month.

Weekly challenges here will, of course, continue in the new year as usual.
