CHNC challenge 71: stripes

It was so encouraging to see all the lovely entries coming in throughout the week for challenge 70  - so much variety and creativity - always good to see the contributions of 'regular's, but just as good to welcome new crafters joining in.

It's nice to see one or two more joining in on the CHNC page on facebook - please feel free to visit and click 'like' so I know that you've been there!

Before I get on to today's challenge, I need to let you know the winner of challenge 70. Unfortunately, there could only be one winner and this is the result of using random.org:

Number 29: Papersniffer (Wendy)
who shared this lovely card

Congratulations, Wendy! Please email me at hazelharris@ntlworld.com so I can arrange for you to receive your £10 voucher from Lili of the Valley.

Challenge 71

For today's challenge I'm asking you to include some stripes on your Christmas card.

And for this week's challenge we have not one but TWO new sponsors:

A randomly-chosen winner will be able to choose a stamp from Craft Brulee's ebay store
(more stamps are being added all the time).

So that means that this week you have two chances to win a prize!

I am so grateful to all of our sponsors for their kind support and generosity.

For my card I've used some DCWV offcuts and the lovely snowman Stampotique stamp by Jo Capper-Sandon, coloured with copics. More information on My Crafty Outlook here.

Now it's over to you. As usual, you can use any materials, any techniques, as long as the end result is a Christmas card - and this week please include some stripes - these can be part of the designer paper, stamped, doodled, striped ribbon ... just include some stripes!

I look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge - please add a link to your blog post (not your blog, but the actual post where your card can be found) by 22:00 UK time Friday 11 May.  Please mention my blog and create a link within the post for your creation.

You can enter as many times as you wish (a good way to build up your stock of Christmas cards) and also link to any other challenges that allow you to do so, but new work only, please.

A new challenge will be set on 12 May.

Please add your link to inlinkz. If by any chance it disappears, please leave a comment with the link to your blog post and I will make sure it is added.

If you haven't done so already, please become a follower and grab my bright pink button to post on your sidebar and help continue to spread the word about this challenge blog - thank you.

Love your card, too, Hazel. I think it's high time I dived into my (still pretty huge) DCWV stash AND played along again.
