CHNC challenge 40: for a male - with a prize

Here we are again with a new challenge - can you believe that we are now at week 40 and fast approaching Christmas - less than three months and it will all be over! So perhaps now is the time to start to seriously think about getting some of those cards done before the panic season! Before I tell you about challenge 40, I want to thank everyone for their super entries for last week's challenge. Every week there are some new people coming on board as well as lots of you who have been making Christmas cards since the beginning of the year.

Challenge 40

This week I would like you to make a card suitable to send to a male - man or boy, you choose.

Here is my card. You can read more about this on my regular crafting blog My Crafty Outlook here.

I'm adding another card that I've made for this challenge - you can read more about it here and see the other challenges I've entered:

and another here:

As it's the first Saturday in the month there will be a prize for a randomly drawn winner (using random.org) - 2 packs of 6 x 6 black magic core'dinations ColorCore cardstock (20 sheets in each) - spell caster and potion No. 9 - these are lovely for embossing and distressing to show the colour core through the black cardstock:

As usual, you can use any materials, any techniques, as long as the end result is a Christmas card - and this week please remember to make a card suitable for a male - apart from that, anything goes.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge - please add a link to your blog post (not your blog, but the actual post where your card can be found) by 22:00 UK time Friday 7 October. Please mention my blog and create a link within the post for your creation.

You can enter as many times as you wish (a good way to build up your stock of Christmas cards) and also link to any other challenges that allow you to do so, but new work only, please.

A new challenge will be set on 8 October.

Please add your link to inlinkz. If by any chance it disappears, please leave a comment with the link to your blog post and I will make sure it is added.

If you haven't done so already, please become a follower and grab my bright pink button to post on your sidebar and help continue to spread the word about this challenge blog - thank you.

I look forward to seeing your creations.
