CHNC challenge 7: feature a creature

Thank you so much to all of you who played along with challenge 6 - there were some lovely cards featuring various digital images.

I'm happy to announce that the winner of challenge 6 sponsored by Shelly's Images is:
Number 7: Jaqi van Jaarsveld

This was Jaqi's lovely card:

You can see details of those lovely images on Jaqi's crafty corner - I made sure I got these myself because I thought they were so special.

Please email me, Jaqi, and I will put you in touch with Shelly to claim your three digital images.

So, on to CHNC challenge 7 - this time I would like you to 'feature a creature' - any kind of creature - perhaps a robin, a sheep, a camel, a mouse, even a teddy bear ... you choose. Of course, you must make a Christmas card.

For my card I stamped with Penny Black's 'the manger' from the Margaret Sherry collection, featuring sheep. I'm pleased to say that I've linked this card for this week's Jingle belles 'no red, she said' challenge. You can find further details on my regular crafting blog, 'My Crafty Outlook' here.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge - please add a link to your blog post (not your blog, but the actual post where your card can be found) by 22:00 UK time Friday 18 February. Please mention my blog and create a link within the post for your creation.

Remember, you can use any materials, any techniques, as long as the end result is a Christmas card - and this week I'd like you to 'feature a creature'.

You can enter as many times as you wish and also link to any other challenges that allow you to do so, but new work only, please.

A new challenge will be set on 19 February.

Please add your link to inlinkz. If by any chance it disappears, please leave a comment with the link to your blog post and I will make sure it is added.

If you haven't done so already, please become a follower and grab my bright pink button to post on your sidebar and help continue to spread the word about this new challenge blog - thank you.

I look forward to seeing your creations.

I am celebrating with some candy on my regular crafting blog - you can read about it and sign up here

  1. Hi Hazel, just a quick apology for not quite making it to the challenge this week - nearly did but not quite quick enough. I've still put a mention of your challenge in my post today hoping to attract more future submissions. Elizabeth x

  5. Hi Hazel, managed to get my submission in on time this week and even with some time to spare for a change. Plenty of creatures in my topper so should satisfy the requirements. Elizabeth x
