CHNC challenge 353


Thank you for all your lovely entries for last week's challenge - such a lot of entries once again! Please keep that Christmas stash out and make something this week and share your entries - I look forward to seeing them. It seems unbelievable that tomorrow is 1 October ... we need to seriously get on with those Christmas designs now.

Every CHNC challenge is 'anything goes as long as it's Christmas', which will, hopefully, encourage as many crafters as possible to join in with their festive creations. However, there will always be an optional theme, which this week is 'black and white and one other colour'. I want to stress that this is purely optional.

Every week I will be giving a prize to a randomly chosen winner - this is the prize for this challenge:

Santa arrives (unmounted stamps)

For my card I used the lovely Inkadinkadoo reindeer stamp, inked with versafine onyx black and heat embossed with detail black powder.. Various offcuts were used, including the piece of embossed shiny black card. The greeting tag was from an unknown set I purchased long ago and the little black flowers were cut from some sticky ribbon. You can see it here on My Crafty Outlook:

For my card I used some sparkly, shiny Papermania Christmas background paper (purchased a few years ago). The lovely Robyn's Fetish image, penguin Paul sleighing, was coloured with spectrum noir pens and mounted on to an upcycled piece of foiled card. The strip of embossed card beneath it was from my offcuts box. Glittered poinsettias were from Hobbycraft (need to get some more ... if they still sell them). Every week I will be giving a prize to a randomly chosen winner - this is the prize for this challenge:

Vintage Christmas design pad
32 sheets with 4 x 8 designs 200 gms
+ a set of vintage Christmas clear acrylic stamps

For my card I used a lovely glittered Christmas scene taken from a card received a few years ago and upcycled. The black card blank is A5 side folded and a strip of embossed snowflakes white paper had been added beneath the Christmas scene. A sentiment from stash a nd gems scattered around finished off the card. You can see it here on My Crafty Outlook:
