For today's challenge I'd like you to create something for the theme of 'Santa is on his way' - this doesn't have to feature Santa - it could be stockings hung, presents around the tree, reindeer, elves ... whatever your interpretation is

For today's challenge I'd like to see Christmas cards that are flat enough to go through the post at no extra charge

I'm starting off by showing the card that I made for this week's Completely Christmas 37, where the theme is 'anything goes with a twist ... let's see some blue' - this is flat and will easily stand the postage test. As usual, you can use any materials, any techniques - and this week I'd like to see Christmas cards that are flat enough to go through the post without any extra charge - here in the UK if the card with envelope is thicker than 5 mm then it has to be sent as a 'large letter', which requires a more expensive stamp. If, like us, you have a fair number of cards to mail, then it really does push up the cost if you make cards with embellishments that stick up and require a 'large letter' stamp. So this week, let's keep our cards moderately flat - you can still add layers or anything as long as it doesn't become more than 5 mm thick.
